Rome hosts the 12th ARTOI International Congress and the 2nd SIO Europe Congress: Bridging Millennia of Healing
May 8–10, 2026 – Rome, Italy
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2nd Society for Integrative Oncology Europe (SIO Europe) Congress and the 12th ARTOI International Congress – Association for Research on Integrated Oncology Therapies, a joint event to be held in Rome on May 8, 9, and 10, 2026.
The congress, entitled “From Ancient Wisdom to Modern Integration: Bridging Millennia of Healing,” will be a unique opportunity for international experts, physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to come together and share the most significant advances in the fight against cancer and in comprehensive patient care.
Our goal is to offer patients treatments that are increasingly effective, safe, and personalized, in line with their expectations, health beliefs, and the latest scientific evidence. The challenges ahead concern the development of new drugs, the creation of innovative clinical protocols, and the evaluation of the role of integrative therapies in improving patients’ quality of life.
We are guided by Evidence-Based Medicine, including the SIO–ASCO clinical practice guidelines, strengthened by a multidisciplinary approach involving oncologists, physicians, nurses, and integrative care specialists, all sharing a common mission: to support the person facing cancer at every stage of their journey.
Personalized and precision medicine represent the future — a medicine based on a deep understanding of the individual, recognizing their biological and human uniqueness.
This Congress is not only a moment of scientific advancement but also an opportunity for ethical reflection, collaboration, and shared responsibility, as we work together toward a medicine that is more innovative, humane, and patient-centered.
